Who we are
CGA TAS Pty Ltd is a locally Hobart owned business that has been operating as a distributor and re-seller of specialty building supplies since the early 1990’s, with the current owners operating the company since 2004. The name CGA TAS (Covers Grates and Agencies) was derived form the company’s original agency Gatic, of which it’s products include cast iron covers and gratings. As the business has grown over the years it has built up its portfolio and prides itself on selling market leading products. To keep up with modern trends and the ever changing market we are constantly reviewing new and innovating products to add to our portfolio. The CGA TAS site at 159 Main Road was redeveloped in 2008 and now houses a modern showroom, office and extensive warehouse.
What we do
We service the greater Hobart area across southern Tasmania as well as supplying products statewide throughout Tasmania. We work within the building industry providing our customers, authorities, business and contractors with products and services that meet their specific needs. This service commitment and our ability to deliver our services on time, to requirements, while still providing value for money helps us develop long term relationships to ensure the best outcomes for our customers and our company.

After your acceptance of our quote, we will contact you to book a suitable installation date.

We have a wide range of colors and patterns available to view on display out the front of our warehouse. This allows you to visit us anytime to view the range available wether the warehouse is open or closed.
Our office hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday. We are closed on public holidays
